May 2016 Preschool News

5th May 2016

We always have mixed feelings when the school year gets down to the final month, and we think about how much our children have grown. Just like the buds we see outside, our Adat Shalom Preschoolers opened up their young minds to many enriching experiences within our classrooms, and their growth has been nothing short of amazing! Use of manners, social skills with peers and teachers, growing friendships and self-confidence are all part of the preschool experience. These skills, and many more, help to provide the building blocks of your child’s early education. Whether your child will be moving up to a new class level or a new school experience, they will build upon this firm foundation.

Don’t forget that more fun is in store when STEM camp begins on June 6, and Preschool Summer Splash Camp begins on June 13. STEM camp will feature exploration with science and math fun. Seven weeks of Splash Camp, each with an individual theme, will focus on outdoor play, water fun, arts and crafts, and interacting with peers in a safe and comfortable environment. There are a few spaces available in all weeks. Register now!

Some of our students will be moving on to a new school, and we wish them all continued success. Parents, please keep in touch with us so that we may hear about our students’ progress!  And, graduate parents, remember to send us a holiday card next year so that we may continue to watch your child(ren) grow.

We want to thank you for trusting us with your precious children! Have a safe and fun summer!
